Our Story
Founded in 2018, Winter Wellness began with a vision to provide exceptional mental health services in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our founder, Kelly Winter, an experienced and passionate clinician, recognized the growing need for accessible mental health care and sought to create a practice that could meet these demands with the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
Over the years, Winter Wellness has grown to include a team of highly qualified and dedicated clinicians. Each member of our team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of therapeutic services tailored to the unique needs of our diverse clientele. Our clinicians are skilled in addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma in individuals, couples and families.
Recognizing the importance of accessibility in mental health care, Winter Wellness has transitioned to a primarily virtual model. This approach ensures that our clients can receive the support they need from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Our secure and user-friendly telehealth platform allows for seamless communication between clients and clinicians, making high-quality mental health care more convenient and accessible than ever before.
At Winter Wellness, we’re committed to providing an upscale and professional experience for you. Our practice is built on the principles of empathy, respect, and excellence, ensuring that every individual receives the personalized care and attention they deserve. We continue to strive for innovation and excellence in all aspects of our practice, dedicated to supporting you, our clients on your journey to mental well-being.
Diversity ↔ Equity ↔ Inclusion
At Winter Wellness, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We believe that embracing and celebrating the diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences of our clients and team members enriches our practice and enhances the quality of care we provide.
Our Commitment to Diversity
Inclusivity in Practice: We welcome clients from all walks of life, explicitly prohibiting discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, religion, physical or mental ability, and any other characteristic that makes our clients unique. Our practice is a safe and supportive space where everyone is valued and respected.
Culturally Competent Care: Our clinicians are dedicated to continuous learning and development in cultural competence. We strive to understand and honor the unique cultural contexts of our clients, ensuring that our therapeutic approaches are sensitive and relevant to their individual needs.
Our Commitment to Equity
Access to Care: We are committed to making mental health services accessible to all. Our primarily virtual model breaks down barriers to care, allowing clients to receive support from the comfort of their own homes.
Fair Treatment: We ensure that all clients and team members are treated with fairness and equity. Our policies and practices are designed to promote equal opportunities and address any disparities within our organization.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
Empowering Voices: We actively seek and value feedback from our clients and team members to continually improve our services and create an inclusive environment. We encourage open dialogue and strive to address any concerns or suggestions promptly and effectively.
Diverse Team: We are working hard to have a diverse team of clinicians who bring varied perspectives and experiences to our practice. This diversity enriches our therapeutic approaches and enhances our ability to meet the unique needs of our clients.
At Winter Wellness, our commitment to DEI is integral to our mission and values. We believe that by fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment, we can better serve our clients and contribute to a more just and compassionate society.

We extend our deepest respect and gratitude to the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and their elders, both past and present, for their stewardship of these lands. We are committed to supporting Indigenous sovereignty and working towards meaningful reconciliation. We pledge to uphold our responsibility to these communities by fostering an environment of learning, support, and respect for all Indigenous peoples.
